Smashing Guitars

Blog, Random

I frequently suffer from episodes of manic boredom. Tonight wasn’t so bad but I still found myself trawling through a USB stick with many files with names I barely understood or remembered. One such file was an MP3 I recorded a few months ago of a guitar being destroyed. I suddenly remembered I had the accompanying photo on my mobile phone. You lucky people! You’re about to hear the noise of an acoustic guitar being smashed to a thousand pieces!

Broken Acoustic Guitar

In case you didn't know what one looked like...

I imagine such a feat is hard to imagine so this is very much an educational experience. The guitar was smashed against chair legs, radiators and the floor. Despite being damaged already, it took a little while to get it into the state you see in the picture.

Anyway enough rambling, have a listen and feel inspired to break some of your own stuff!
