A couple of years ago I made a bunch of videos about learning Music Theory. I made 6 in total and intend to make another 7 over the summer. I’m gradually reposting these to YouTube. Here’s the first lesson on Tones and Semitones.
Here is a brand new music video from the upcoming ‘Rise’ EP. This is from the last track ‘Improvisation (Paris)’ – an improvised piano piece influenced by the French Capital.
‘Rise’ EP comes out on June 15th.
To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the album ‘Minds Collide’ a new EP will be released on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon and all good retailers and streamers.
Another new track! This one is called ‘Drive-Thru’ and is also available to buy on BandCamp! I made this track using Cubasis on the iPad, plus plugins such as a Roli Noise and Syntronik.
I’ve released another new track. This one is called ‘Long Way From Candlewood’. It’s made using sounds from IK Multimedia’s Syntronik. It has a Stranger Things vibe to it.
You can buy the track in MP3 and hi-res FLAC from BandCamp. Pay what you want for the track.
I recently made a video about IK Multimedia’s new keyboard, the iRig Keys I/O 25. It’s a midi controller with built in audio interface and works with both laptops and iPads. If you like the video, please like, comment and subscribe over on YouTube.
It’s a hashtag that’s going around on Instagram at the moment. It’s very cheesy and full of hyperbole. Nevertheless, I’m not one to miss a bandwagon, so here are 9 albums that maybe didn’t change my life, but are important to me somehow.
The track featured in my recent portable Studio video has been released on BandCamp and you can also view the video above.
The track is available in MP3 and hi-resolution FLAC, and you can pay what you want. Buy it here.
A new video for the new year. I’ve started off with a tour of my portable music making Setup, that I used during the festive period.
The setup features the iPad Pro 10.5, iRig Keys I/O 25, Korg MicroKey Air and other musical goodies.
Another one of my Korg Gadget creations has hit SoundCloud! This one is called Lady Grapes. Everything was recorded in Korg Gadget apart from the vocoder, which was recorded using my Roland JD-XI synth. Enjoy!
